Welcome to the 2024-2025 Hockey Registration with the Watertown Lakers!

Please read the information below and on the following pages very carefully to ensure you fully understand ALL participation requirements and your registration is completely accurately.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

• Read the Lakers Handbook.  Handbook can be found on the homepage of watertownlakers.org, and at the linked document below.

• Review the fundraising and volunteer requirements. New families should read the Lakers Handbook and become familiar with the various aspects of being part of the Watertown Hockey Association.

• Login to your Sportsengine account.  You will need to create an account if you don't have one from a past season or another sport.  NOTE: when selecting an email address to use in your account, keep in mind this is the address to which periodic Association emails will be sent.

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the 2024-2025 Season. 

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration page, go to the bottom of the page and log in to your Ngin account and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Each player's name must match the name as it appears on their birth certificate.
• Any unpaid balance on your account from a prior season MUST be paid BEFORE registering for a new season.
• This registration system is for all players born 2006-2020.

WHA Divisions and Fees:

Registration fees pay for the costs associated with coaching, training and playing Laker hockey including fees assessed by the city of Watertown for ice usage for practices, games and other on-ice activities. WHA aims to keep these fees affordable by engaging our families in additional fundraising and volunteer activities.

Registration fee is discounted by $100 for players registering before August 15th! Below are the discounted rates for the 2024-2025 season.

Additional fees:

• Family Season Pass ($60 family, $30 single)
• Jersey fee ($50 for varsity players only)
• Optional gear rental (gear $50, skates $20).

Season Passes are required for all families with league level players (Squirts thru Varsity). Single Season Passes are valid only for the individual named on the pass. Family Season Passes are valid for Parents and immediate children living in the household. Season passes are valid for all Watertown Laker home games but EXCLUDE State Tournaments.

Payment Options

** REGISTRATIONS MADE AFTER SEPT 1st WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT PLAN OPTION ** 

•PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Submit total player fees online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Debit or Credit card.

•PAY ONLINE WITH PAYMENT PLAN : Register before the end of August for just $25 down and then have your player fees divided into 4  installments with the first installment to be due September 1st. Installments will be automatically debited from your account in 4 equal installments on September 1st, October 1st, November 1st and December 1st. 

***Please note that fees for season pass fees, jerseys, and socks will be applied at checkout.*****

•PAY OFFLINE IN FULL: Use discount code "paybycheck" to pay WHA by check. Check for entire registration amount can be sent to WHA, PO Box 483, Watertown, SD 57201 before August 31st. 

•REGISTRATION DISCOUNT:  Returning player registrations before August 15th will be discounted $100.  New players will receive the discounted rate regardless of timing of registration.

The Watertown Hockey Association is a Watertown Area United Way organization.   With United Way assistance, registration scholarships are available.  If you wish to apply for a United Way Scholarship please fill out the Scholarship Application.  You may fill out the form at the link below, download and print the application and submit it to the WHA Treasurer.  If you qualify for a scholarship, you will be contacted with a discount code to submit while registering online.  Be sure to register with USA hockey and submit receipt to the treasurer for a reimbursement of those fees.
